Individual Behavior

My future manager would have to understand the individual behavior idea based on the "Big Five" traits concerning agreeableness. It is very important for a manager to understand that a reliable employee is someone who is helpful, trustworthy, courteous and can get along with others. An employee who lacks these traits can not work in an environment where working as a team or in a group is essential.
A manager needs to understand that the traits concerning agreeableness create a better workplace for everyone to be in. If a manager wants to run a successful company then his/her employees would have to be on the same page. An employee who is disruptive, dishonest, skeptical and tough will not create a working environment that flourishes success and self actualization to want to succeed within the company.

Leadership

When it comes down to a leader of one organization becoming a leader in another, the only name that comes into my mind is that of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. He achieved a lever of leadership success in religion, in his church where he had many individuals who followed and heard his sermons as a pastor. He became a pastor in Dexter Avenue Baptist Church in Montgomery, Alabama when he was only 25 years old.
Civil rights during the 1960's was the point in which minority groups, such as the African America & Latino Americans, fought hard to create a society in which individuals are not judged by the color of their skin. Martin Luther King Jr became a civil rights activist in the 1960's and believed in a non violent approach when protesting unlike other activist groups who believed that violence was the key of power.
Dr. Martin Luther King Jr is considered to be an outstanding leader in one organization and became an outstanding leader in another form of an organization. He inspired many individuals in a religious point of view and used that same approach to captivate millions of more people with his speeches and demeanor. Dr. King Jr's time in the church developed an understanding of how to speak and express his views within a large audience and his time as pastor developed the characteristics needed to reel in his audience to believe in  his words. He changed society for the better and created a better society for my generation and the ones to come.

HRM Experience

I work for a retail store (name I can not disclose) for the last year and a half in Midtown Manhattan. The work environment is great because as an employee I take pride for the organization I work for and its products. Pride is not something everyone has because for a lot of people it is just a job and not a career path. Being an associate in a retail job means that one has to create a comfortable environment for the consumer while engaging the proper product knowledge in order for the consumer to leave satisfied with the desire to return. Not everyone in my job cares about the consumer experience but care about certain discussions with other employees that should be discussed during ones personal time. Many employees at my job tend to slack off and forget the fact that a job is a job which causes a lack of customer service and a negative perspective in the minds of the consumers. My store always tries to create a fun environment for both the employees and the customers by promoting different events that engage both parties.

The best method I believe to fix these issues is creating a different method of selecting individuals during the interview process. Creating different types of questions to be asked during the interview process can let the managers know the kind of personality an individual possesses which will allow them to pick which type of person will benefit the company. Another method is for the company to compensate those individual employees who do their job correctly thus motivating the other employees to thrive for the same goal.
