Career Planning

   There are three career objectives I have for the next five years. I am currently a senior in Baruch and I am in my last semester of my bachelors degree in Management of Musical Enterprise. My first goal is to finish off this semester in a good academic standing and enjoy my graduation festivities. My second goal is to find a job that is related to my field as in a music record company that will lead for a good salary and better way of living. My third goal is to move up the career latter and work for the Latin division of a record label.
   In order for my goals to be accomplished I have to recognize my strengths and weaknesses I have. A key strength that I have is the ability to never give up even when the road to my success seems difficult. Another strength that I have is that I have a strong mind and know exactly what it will take for me to succeed. My weakness is that I am very impatient when it comes down to getting these career objectives in motion because I want things to happen at the present but I realize that everything in life takes time.

Plan of Action
 1. In order to finish this semester in a good academic standing I must stay on top of my studies. This will involve a schedule in which I can balance school, work, internship and my personal life.
2. To find a job within my career path I must finish school and my current internship and start applying and looking for jobs, even if its an entry level position that involve just office work. I must be patient and build up my networking skills because my career choice is about who I know and how can these individuals help me achieve my career goals.
3. In order for me to achieve my ideal dream job of working in the Latin division of a record label I must first increase my work experience, understand the business and create the correct contacts that will take to where I want to be.
